Limited Edition Print Release

Many of you saw Anton Pulvirenti quietly working away on his series of brush and ink drawings of the eclipse at Maitland Downs (Site 3A) and at Marlin Cove Resort in the days after the eclipse and later in the week some expressed an interest in buying the drawing.
About The Artist
"Anton Pulvirenti is a Sydney based artist who specialises in pencil, pastel and ink. Anton's work usually draws on family history and photography for its subject matter. However, direct observation is the most central aspect of Anton's practice. This can be seen especially in the suite of drawings made during the 2012 total eclipse in Cairns, from which the print 'Totality' derives. Anton has exhibited in Korea, Italy, Qatar, New Zealand and Australia. Anton is also a Maddonnari, or pavement artist. He recently competed in the Grazie Madonnari Chalk Festival in Northern Italy in August this year. Anton is also completing a PhD at Sydney University."

Totality

In drawing 'Totality,' Anton explored the topic and made several original drawings as a study of the topic - all similar but all a little different or from different perspective viewpoints. Anton was particularly inspired by the fact that this subject matter gave him the the opportunity to explore his favourite subject (people) in the context of a great landscape with a spectacular natural event Here is the last drawing in the series which he has simply called totality.

The Bottom Line

One original is already sold.  He will sell the other originals at a premium price. Conact him if you are interested in acquiring an original.

He will sell limited edition prints unframed in two sizes :  

A2 print    A$195.00
A3 print    A$115.00

Price includes postage, packing and insurance to addresses Australia.  International, add $25.

Each edition will be limited to 30 for each size at which point he will will stop selling them.

If there is more of a demand, he will make a new drawing and start another series, signing them as part of a new limited edition of 30.
