Two hours drive north of Cairns, Daintree National Park is a world heritage rainforest. The national park is 35km from Daintree the town and 150km north of Cairns. Allow at least one full day to see the rainforest. We spent two days walking trails, seeing the visitors centre which includes a number of elevated skywalks at rainforest canopy level. Cape Tribulation is the point where the reef comes in to meet the coast. If you are a strong swimmer, you can swim out about 200 metres to a small reef. BACK
